The last of my suggestions/thoughts:
- The necessity for saving would be a huge factor in my opinion, I think it is a low priority on your list? I found it extremely frustrating not being able to save at points I preferred, especially if I get a checkpoint and then realise I need to run back and grab some ammo, then I have to re-do that every time I mess up. Keep the auto-saves/checkpoints though.

- I found grenade launchers/grenades/rocket launchers just plain suck. It usually takes 4 launched grenade shells or 2 grenades to kill someone whereas they should instantly kill anyone within range. Rocket launchers aren't too bad, considering how pathetic the others are, but a Fat Boy really shouldn't take 4 rockets to kill. Realistically, you'd have Fat Boy splattered everywhere from 1, but for FarCry - 2 would be better, I'd rather shoot him than try to hit him with 4 rockets.

Sounds good :) I'll definitely keep checking up for your release of the new version (roughly, how soon will it be ready?)

Any reason why you aren't interested in FarCry 2? I'm thinking of getting it since I enjoyed the first so much.

I have just completed the entire game and have gone through and completed it without the mod and can say the mod really makes FarCry SO much better, so a BIG thanks.

Since you are updating your mod, I thought I'd give a couple of suggestions I think would add to the enjoyment (will have to make two posts due to the character limit) :
- Not being able to shoot above water at all (while in it) was really annoying. I can understand heavy weapons or sniping, but un-focused shooting with a pistol or an automatic rifle should be possible. Treading water and not being able to fire while you have enemies raining hell on you is plain stupidity.

- The stealth factor to the game is useless. Bushes and grass don't seem to hinder npcs line-of-sight at all, and they can detect you even while you are hiding behind some objects they can't see/shoot through. They can also hear you moving quietly in other rooms while you are jogging even when you can't hear yourself. You should be able to get within a reasonable distance before you need to crawl up to them.
They can see you with their eyes at over 1km away in the open when you can't see them without a scope.
I gave up on stealth kills ( except for sniping from a distance away, which I loved) and just took cover then doing I-Am-Legend-style instead (and with the amount of enemies, in reality, you'd be crazy not to stealth-kill as much as possible).

They are well deserved as you have both done an awesome job.

I am not too far into the game and have just blown up the generator in the Fort/Bunker and glided down to the next area.
After getting through a bit of the jungle I have come up to some more tents and am finding the mercs can see and shoot me through the tents again (under the 'Pier' saves).
This seemed to be fixed at the first set of tents in the game, with your mod, but it doesn't seem to be working at these tents.

I don't know if you are still working on this mod since you are probably more interested in Far Cry 2 now, but I thought I'd let you know about that problem.

Just got the cheap bundle of Far Cry and updated to 1.4 to find this mod of yours is necessary to play to full enjoyment. Mainly the shooting through tents is the part that is really getting to me.

So thanks heaps and I'm glad the community fixed up the problems that the developers left.
