I am an old school computer game player, who has grown disatisfied with just playing games. I have come to expect games to dissapoint me. I always tell people about where the game goes wrong and how it should have worked. They almost all agree that my idea would make the game so much better. Unfortunately I know only the basic that I studied twenty years ago. I am just dipping my feet into the vast and terrifying pools of indie game development. I toyed with the idea of making mods, but too often the mods got derailed by the games limitations. So I am going to see if I can't make my way into the scary but exciting depths of indie game development. My driving points in a game play experience are strategy, creativity, and story. As I learn my way through, I hope to reinvent the entire 'Strategy' genre into something more befitting the term.
