Nope, not dead yet. Just a mod team that is under staffed and has a life that is more important than this mod. I'm sure they still are looking for help molding if you have experience and a decent amount of free time.

Type help and scroll through and find the cheat you are trying. Some cheats have changed since version 2.1.6. Some can now be passed ID's and if you are used to playing CK2 with WoL I know the add_trait/remove_trait now accept IDs when I don't believe they did before. Hopefully. I'm not mistaken and have assisted you.

That is your problem 2.3 is not compatible use 2.1.6

What's your version of ck2 and what dlc are you playing with?

As they have mentioned on the forums the changes at this point are too integrated into the rest of the mod. To remove those features now would added more time than one would think. If what you are suggesting was done from the beginning I'm nothe sure it would be good either. I have feeling there is a middle ground, but they need to be more dedicated group i.e. group who has few other priorities.
