reinstall d2, run the vid test as admin before you add any files or update the game in any way.

Then you have another diablo 2 directory somewhere and the shortcut you are using is going to that directory.

go into the content update mod folder, somewhere there is a debug log.
open that and hit "ctrl + F" search for "Fault address"
Fault address: copy paste what it says here and if theres an error code like access violation c0000005 let me know

Edit: Tried not using tele/made a diff char/reinstalled no luck. couldnt even get a necro to the underground passage before it crashed

i finally got it. had to install fresh d2. install glide. install plugy. install d2se. restart pc. install mod. restart. change .dll files. restart. change compatability mode to windows 7 and success.

beat normal and went to do some baal runs, i get a message that my keyboard cant even spell when i join the game. its along the lines of "t?CmSOf[]lo0*0 is not in the game." S/O/o have a - above them.

Edit: It would seem Baal's Decrepify increases move speed rather than decrease. (not sure about attack speed effects as i'm a sorc atm)

ive tried 2 fresh installs, can't get it to run with d2se. I can get it to run without d2se but then it doesnt have plulgy. trying to install plugy and running that way doesnt seem to work either.

Same thing. Replaced file. Fresh install - twice. tried with and without d2se. tried with and without replacing the .dll. Seems like an unstable version?

Does anyone still play this? i tried to download 1.06 and its a .rar file so my pc reads it as a media file.

Has anyone been able to get this patch to work? my computer reads the .rar file as a media player file. Any Ideas?
