We actually didn't intentionally cancel the devblog, it's just that the first one took so much time to create, and we thought this time to better be invested in the actual development. However, you can look forward to something very soon, and that's a promise. ;)
Yep, this is because they are simply painted on in ZBrush. Our artist replaced them afterwards - with "real" eyes (as well as the mouth) in Blender. :)
Nope, this time we've spent a lot of time optimizing - Especially in the capital city. So far all of the pictures run with 50-60fps. :-)
And no, we're not using any ENB. But of course, ENBs will work with Enderal. :)
Good question. We've been working on it for quite a long time now, but the last months have been so incredibly packed with work (press appointments, milestones, and so on) that we didn't even get a spare second to breathe properly. We realize that we've kept you waiting for quite long now, but thats one of the downsides of being a small team with no one exclusively taking care of PR. I'll see that I can get it done as soon as possible, but I cannot make any promises, since I'm also the guy implementing the quests. ;)
I can confirm that we're definitely trying to get a complete English synchronization. We already got some very good voice actors onboard, but we don't want to make any promises. :)
And as for the release date, we don't want to give one yet. But we're working a lot and at the moment, Enderal is advancing extremly good. :)
If thats your deepest wish, you may do so. Basically Enderal supports any Skyrim mod that doesn't come with an .esp. That goes for the body replacers as well.

There are probably going to be three playable races: Allemanne, Half-Qyranian (used to be Korinthe) and Half-Aeterna. :)

Our team has existed for 10 yrs now, and we have released four grand-scale mod projects, two of which have won prizes, and one of which was downloaded over 700 000 times worldwide, translated into 8 different langauges by fans and praised by the press as "a watermark of whatever Bethesda has planned to surpass with Skyrim." Is that what you call an average driver?
Honestly, I'm personally kind of disappointed with all the rage here. We're working really, really hard for our project, and it feels kind of awkward to see so many people not granting us a little appreciation.
It's a common mistake to believe that the ranking has _anything_ to do with the actual votes being given. A mod can be rank 1 for weeks and not get a single vote - theoretically.

Thats correct. I think it comes down to a matter of taste, thatwilldo. I personally would feel a bigot writing that sort of "polished dialogue" where even beggars have their tongue wrapped in gold. I, and this is my strictly personal viewpoint as Enderal's writer, like my dialogue to - in a way - reflect parts of the real society. I want parts of the world to be racist, brutal and violent, as well as I want parts of the world to be funny, beautiful and kind. I personally never understood why "foul" language upsets so many people, but I have to accept that it does. I somehow get the impression that people judging foul language seem to be afraid on its impact on society (children), but honestly, I think the roots of hatred and egomanic behaviour can be found someplace else. Uph, now I derailed - Sorry! Once again, this is just my personal viewpoint. I personally would never say the f-word in public, but I want some of my characters to, because what I really don't want are characters that are all just a reflection of myself.
Glad you like it! We also wanted to say goodbye to the polished, classy fantasy language we used in Nehrim, at least for uneducated Endraleans. Gives us way more possibilities to give NPCs personality! :-)

Yes, you're definitely right. But since one of our team members is an aspiring architect, we reworked the actual 3D-model to make it a lot more plausible in terms of physics. ;)

1 Video a month would be an insane amount of work - But the next one is in the making. We want to make sure that every episode is something new and interesting. :)
Of course! We're still developing in German. And we might also release an English version with German voice acting, but we're not sure about that yet. :)
We have, actually, and we've been planning that step for quite some time now. We think that we've come up with a decent battle plan, but we also know from experience that the gaming industry is really, really tough. But you'll hear from that soon enough. :) Our main priority for the moment is completing Enderal, which is still a huge load of work.
