You can of course configure to your own taste and preference, this is just meant to be out of the box easy for people to install and play.

The ghillie suit has been winterified, enemies have winter outfits (where applicable / available) and really depends on your faction I suppose, loot is more generous than usual, especially with starting loadouts which have been made to complement each class and faction.

The mosin and k98 both have winter ghillie skins as well when they are scoped. Looks really nice with the full setup.

Some good advice for once you get into the game:

Press M to choose a character class.

Set your carry weight to something more realistic in settings... I play with 40kg.

Shut off backpack animations in mod configuration, FDDA menu sometimes they get stuck and you have to save/load to get out of them.

EDIT: I am working on an update where I will add my own winter clothing to all the factions for those that don't have any, keep your eyes peeled, just really busy at the moment! :)

I can't wait! Hopefully this upload happens soon... I see this comment is only a few hours old... the game doesn't work for me at all... I can sometimes play for around 5-10 minutes before it just violently crashes... but the real problem is, there is nothing showing up in the shops to purchase and then shortly after starting (before I can finish reading the opening txt) a bunch of insanely powerful ships appear out of nowhere and start laying waste to me... Maybe you intended the game to be hard, but that is just impossible. A shame because I loved Starflight and I have really been looking for a game like this... I'm really hoping this will work now.
