In fact yes I did. (I tried to set up the MMod version) And the scene where the Gman talks to you while the test chamber is in the back round is replaced with a bunch of Trigger walls.

When I tried to install this into HL2_MMOD by using the instructions provided in the moddb description, there was an engine error that read "248/ -func_lod: UTIL_SetModel: not precached: *92" So do not follow those directions! Still haven't made it despite rewatching the video multiple times!

That's absolutely awesome! It's such a taboo thing to have vocal protagonists in Half Life mods. I'm afraid that in the new mod Operation Black Mesa Barney is not going to talk like in another mod, Black Mesa: Blue Shift.
