Spomenko Gostić was born in 1978 in Doboj. He was killed in 1993 in the village of Jovići. He was a soldier of the Army of Republika Srpska.
In the beginning of war, his mother died, so he joined the army as messenger. In the meantime, his grandmother was killed by Muslim side, and he was promoted to a member of logistic- he carried food for soldiers on the front line in oxcart. One day, his horses walked over minefield- he was wounded.
Because of the Muslim offensive, he and several soldiers have decided to defend the village. In March, in 1993, one shell from the Muslim side fell on the village, fatally wounding this young hero. He and his five comrades were killed from this shell.
Eternal glory to young hero.
REMINDER: It's not about abusing of children or forcing into army. Army was his other and only family, and soldiers and officers were treating him like he was their son, because kids always have a special place in any society, both in war and in peace.
