I have currently played more than 1500 hours on Crusader Kings 2 and more than half of those have been on this mod. The scripting is first class, visuals are very appealing and I find this mod often does certain aspects of the game better than the original. The scenarios are wonderfully done most often following the events of the books and I enjoy having the option to start at any point in time for 300+ years not just at bookmarks. However, I was particularly impressed with the added features of the republics which make them a lot more fun to play, as well as their duel/tournament engine which breaks up the long periods of diplomacy and strategy for which Crusader Kings is renowned. Ultimately, this mod is the best mod of any that I have ever played.
