I'm a game developer. I love games, I was raised playing them. From jumping around on Commander Keen's pogo stick to kicking butt and chewing bubble gum when I was all out of bubble gum. Doom and Quake, then to RPGs. I do my best to make quality games, so please enjoy everything I plan to throw at you guys over the coming years! :D

I am starting work on SPEngine 3 tomorrow. This is the Engine that Boken II will run on.
The current engine, SPEngine 2, is actually heavily based on the base code of SPE 1 which Boken and my older Yoshimi games used. The old SPE is okay for smaller projects, but it's 3d support is very limited. SPE 3 will have better 3d support like slopes and better texture loading.

SPEngine is the basic engine that all of my games have been using since late 2011. It works perfectly for 2d games, and I will probably default to it in the future for my 2d creations.

On a side note, I hope to bring the original Boken to IndieDB/Desura free of charge for all. Just remember Boken wasn't meant to be publically released, it was an experimental GMK file back when I got GM8.1, and I have used it for testing game Ideas eve since. It's like a creative world in Minecraft, I have an idea, I test it in Boken, then it goes into a game. Boken still gets regular updates through my website, but I have limited space and Desura offers an updater for the games. So, on October 31st the Official Boken Updater will be taken down. A final update will be released through it to remove the code for update checks. The Beastiary will be maintained in the main site though, so don't worry!

Well, I have to go start work on SPE 3, so have fun and stay crunchy in milk! :D

@4JStudios So, in the new update redstone sometimes just stops working. It lights up an sparkles, but my Pistons don't fire anymore... :/
