Some problems with this version have been the collision for some maps are incorrect.
Leaving a online match then going into another online match will make the client clash: reason is music is not being disposed correctly and I'm currently trying to fix the issue. To solve the issue close the client and reopen the client, this has existed in all previous versions also.
The server however has proved to be very stable and in a 2 hour stress test with 10 players
fighting it did not crash (if the server crashed for you please report it here or message me the error message that the server will display upon a crash)
Currently improving the loading screen to display more information and to make the transition from main menu to gameplay more polished.
Fixing some bugs found with beam clashes from the new system that was added in last version. Adding a new ability called Ki Dash which will target your last enemy you hit making you charge towards them in an arc getting you in melee range.
Fixing a problem with previous version maps having wrong collision. I will announce soon when the next version will be uploaded
I am. I would like to change the 2d characters with 3d ones in a 3d world in the future but right now focusing on coding a solid multiplayer and solid fun game play mechanics that feel like dbz :)
Recently just uploaded the new version 3.0 of Dragonball Tactics.
Improved the server stability and performance.

(flying around the planet with centre of the planets gravity pulling you down) is on hold for the moment but i plan on adding it into the game very soon. I have been working on improving performance first and nice features like flying around planets big and small will be added later :)
The stress test went well and the new changes have been completed. Everything has been a success and i have noticed major improvements in the servers performance.
I will be polishing up the recent changes made including making some new changes I want to add that will improve various other parts of the games performance which should be completed by tomorrow. After those changes and a bit more testing a new version should be released later tomorrow.
I have improved servers performance. We also added improvements to reduce lag for the client which have been successful.
Currently the changes to reduce lag for client are all continuing and we haven't completed all the steps required to reduce the lag client side, these changes will also improve server stability.
I am hoping that after I complete the improvements to the server I will be able to release the new version after we test the server for any other issues that might exist from the changes.
During the changes we are also looking at improving melee to be more combo based and reward you on your combos you stack up in melee.
So recently we have been testing the server allot and we have noticed some problems which existed we have solved these problems which were mostly bottlenecked code when multiple players or bots were playing. These have been fixed by using threading for each player or bot to reduce lag.
We have been optimising the server also and hope that this will also increase performance and reduce any delays while playing the game.
As the current changes are only being internal and not really effecting gameplay at all we haven't uploaded the newest version.
I'm hoping that when we are satisfied with the new performance upgrades for the server we will be able to focus on some visual upgrades client side for the next version release on the site.

I also setup the server browser and when you create a server if the server browser can see it other players will be able to join your server.
This option can be removed when you create your server by typing "No" for Visible Server option (I will explain more about these changes when the next version of the server and client is released)
Couple important bugs that might occur are:
Tiens taunt sounds doesn't exist
Cells special beam cannon form 1 doesn't exist
A couple minor bugs that might crash when server rotates to different maps
Opening debug and exiting the server will crash the client
Some of these errors have been fixed in the next version which i will try to release tonight.

Now working on the gravity to allow you to run around the planet while the camera, player and all your attacks are relative to the planets gravity

I am currently working on some updates which will be posted on this page for everyone.
I added the server and client together in 1 folder which is being uploaded right now (says it will complete upload in 1 hour from now). The server browser wont work until I get some hosting but you will be able to connect to the server i included.
To get friends to join your server provide them your IP address and Port you selected for the server.. Otherwise type -createrandom in chat and you can verse up to 12 bots on your server.
Typing -commands in chat will give you a list of commands you can use for your server.

Polish has been a main focus for the past couple weeks. I have been working on improving the GUI to make it easier to understand and to use as-well as only showing the important information the player wants to know about a item and displayed in a standard layout.

houses are instanced from the open world. Caves and spaceships are also instanced the same as houses.
click the Server.exe. type the port for example 100 then type the name of your server which is any name for example: my cool server
then run the game click direct connection for ip address type 127.0.0.1 and the same port you typed for server: 100 you will now connect to the server.
if your friends want to connect to your server you need to give them your ip address and the port you used. let me know if this fixed the problem :)

Hey Dan. Coming out very soon, I'm just completing the website. I estimate about 2 to 3 more hours.
DBT 2D will have its own separate website with a forum for feedback and the community. The website will host information regarding tournaments, how to play and a bug list / list of fix's.
DBT 2D will be released to the public on the 2nd April (only 6 more days)
Allot of polish has also been added, Spacebit is about to be fully released which also includes a demo. Very exciting stuff and I'm working really hard to make sure the game runs very smoothly and is as much fun as possible :D
