OMFG HL2 is better than i exoected im just glad i didnt download the leaked beta. \o/

They have put a date on beta 1 release..
if you check their forums you will see the date for release is set for the 14th July 2003 :)

Come on fans i know it sounds bad when a mod takes a while to be released because of beta testing but i can assure you it is for a very good purpose. If the first beta had been released to the public then a lot would have been put off because of some of the bugs, thats whats being done testing to make sure anoying bugs like exiting from the game for trying to look at ur score would have ****** off the players and put you off. The bugs are fixed and then another betatest to make sure that fixing one bug didnt create another bug etc.

These small but anoying bugs needed to be found to make your enjoyment of the game better.
