Hi,

A great idea! I have a suggestion; you should also include The fall of the Mughal Empire (you already mentioned, the empire declining and not at the peak/strength it used to be) and other empires rising/surviving.

With the East India Company taking over most of the Indian kingdoms with few trying to withstand and not be absorbed by the empire. Mysore (being one of them and already in the game, not sure how accurate their attire/description/representations is relative to history. The Anglo-Mysore war WILL have to be included as it's a major event in Indian history the state of Mysore being the last stand against British Dominance and for a long time without any external support despite trying to make attempts for assistance and trade and economical benefits with the Ottoman Empire and Napoleon of France. It would be nice to play as Mysore and given more of a representation and significance and personality leading the armies as Haider Ali and then his son the Tiger 🐯 of Mysore Tipu Sultan a fierce, severe enemy to the British.

Tipu was a pioneer in that he was the first in India (correct me if I'm wrong) to adapt modern European army methods and drills ensuring his armies were efficient and could keep up with European powers in might sending envoys to the ottoman empire and other places showcasing his army although the some of the leaders of the Ottoman Empire were unimpressed by the modern army and preferred the traditional as they didn't feel comfortable adopting the methods of the European or disbelieving heathen. He was also the pioneer of modern rocketry, the first (if not then at least the first in India) to have rocketmen🚀 line up and utilise rocket missile weapons to break up disciplined European armies, rockets missiles that had a blade attached which would spin mid air before landing and impaling enemies and causing shock and instilling fear and breaking morale of enemies. The British experienced this firsthand in the Anglo-Mysore Wars and then developed the same technology and improved upon it. He wrote a manual on his use and formations of rocket warfare which can be purchased but is not easily available in most countries. These rockets were a defining factor in Mysore's victory.

I also think you should include the developments of minority factions such as rise of the Sikh Empire, Perhaps including Maharajah Ranjit Singh and his ambition of unifying the in-fighting of Sikhs and the lands of Punjab to form The Sikh Empire to unify in order to survive in these turbulent times against a foreign enemy i.e. British and include the Anglo-Sikh Wars and also The wars of Sikhs against the Afghans (A memorable event in Sikh history) and also The Sikhs wars against the Declining Mughal Empire struggling to keep it's dominance. You could include Sikh units known for their bravery and unique weapons/skillset that would empower them and put them at an advantage and keep up with their enemies.

Also any other independent Indian factions of that time had their stories/goals.

Let me know if you need any help, I'm willing to help in this ☺️
