SLi-Fox (Ben) first started messing with the innards of games in 1995 with his Apple PowerMac 6100/66 with the game 'Escape Velocity by Ambrosia.' He joined the Navy as a FireControlman CIWS Tech and enjoyed messing with the innards of multi-million dollar hardware and of course blowing S#!T up. He couldn't do much on his Apple PowerBook G3 at that time. He soon got out and pick up a crappy Sony Vaio desktop (Bloated with Crapware and hardware that was barely upgradable) and got back into games. With the construction of a homebuilt PC (eVGA 780i w/ Q9650 etc...), SLi-Fox has resumed modding, but as of late has been very distracted.

I would like to thanks those who have downloaded my maps. My work schedule is a real mess right now and I'm trying to keep up my work on SupComFA maps. I have 2 in the works with an idea for a 3rd after I finish the prior 2.

Supreme Commander 2:
I've been reading as much as I possibly can about it and from what I've been reading is that SupCom2 will have a simplified economy which pretty much means no mass/metal or energy to manage. I don't like it!
The economy in SupCom presents a strategic advantage or liability. The original Total Annihilation had it down very well. In the original, base defenses had an energy consumption value and if your enemy managed to knock out enough power plants, your base defenses would power down. In SupCom and SupComFA, that wasn't the case and we had to wait for someone to create a mod for that (I can't remember the author's name and what the mod is called. I havn't tried it yet considering I spend more time creating maps than playing the game).

I think Chris Taylor should give an option in the game to have an economy management mode and a non-economy management mode to not only appease long time fans, but also appease his greater target of the greater audience.
