I'm just a german GAMER which like to play games, testing mods and create/fix/improve new or always existing mods/addons or translate them (improves my own knowledge and foreign language skills ^_-^)

using with default gog installation of quake 2 quaddamage pack. clicking the quake2xp exe and nothing happens. cant even create a logfile with +set developer 1 +set logfile 2 because it won't start at all :( previous version worked perfect. using latest bin from discord

if i try to run "the reckoning" (xatrix) the console pops up ans spams:
loopback: outgoing message overflow

map don't load :(

and, well, "SV_areaentities: MAXCOUNT" spamming..as told before, it only occours if you enable the "z_madlyenhanced_3.pk3"
and only if you get on the top of the mountain and enter the "turtle-cow-thing area" i think it's triggered because of the sprites of the fizzing water that constantly spawns..sry don't know how to fix that :(

First of all:
Really much thx for this IMPROVEMENT! It's really "madly" :)

2nd (bugs'n'fixes):
Got the same problem as some posters below, the "LEAF" at the Level "Pool of Tears" is/was missing and i got the same problem as PossuM "The console in the PoT level constantly spams "SV_areaentities: MAXCOUNT"

Well, my testing results (doesn't matter which version/update of madly-mod):
First of all...the leaf is still there!..it's just invicible^^ try to walk around until you step on something and you will begin to surf^^
next:
If you got an already bugged savegame with the "missing" (invisible) leaf, forget it. Seems the game saves the enabled mods into the save, so you need to start a new game or use a save BEFORE you used the Madly-Mod! (maybe there is an old quake console cvar for resetting the engine but sadly i don't know it :(

This steps to my tesings:
-I started a new game (completely without the Mod)
-Opened Console (^)
-entered: map potears1
-warping to the pool of tears level
-console again and used: noclip
-fly to the top of the mountain, entered noclip again, spoke with the turtle-guy
-LEAF falls, works all as it should!
-no console spamming of "max_entity blabla"

after that i did the same procedure with the whole files of the madly-mod and well..LEAF don't dropps (or should we better say..its "invisible") and console spamms this "max_entity blabla"

the "evil-file" of all this problems is "z_madlyenhanced_3.pk3"
for the leaf-problem it's the so called "models/leaf_ride.tik" scriptfile inside the pack.
CHANGE the line that says:
classname actor
to
classname object
and it works like a charm!!!
Hell Yeah, i like beta-testing of good stuff :)
