I bought the physical limited edition because it was same price as standard digital on Steam. I wish Gabriel Angelos was the same VA as in 1 and Retribution, but other than that so far I'm loving the campaign. Gameplay is exactly a mix between 1 and 2.

Sweet Celestine's Backside! I was skeptical about Gathering Storm but this looks like it's going to be epic, and truly make 40K fresh again.

So from what I can gather, Dawn of War 3 is going to feature a single campaign where you play alternatively as Orks, Eldar, and Magpies. They're bringing back Gorgutz, Macha, and our old friend Gabriel effin' Angelos to head up the armies, which this time will feature Knight-class units. Apparently you're fighting over a cataclysmic weapon on the planet Acheron, but battles take place on ships in space as well. Not sure how I feel about having to play as filthy xenos, but the cinematic trailer itself was enough to inspire awe. Hopefully the Emperor smiles upon us and we get some screenshots or gameplay footage soon.

Unfortunately Im way too lazy and unskilled to make a 40K cosplay costume. I wish they sold em.

I believe its a Centurion with a chainfist rather than a siege drill. Which is weird for Raven Guard.

So what's with this Apocalypse novel series? Is it relatively new and designed to be taking the place of the Space Marine Battles series? Or have I just been away from 40K too long?

Thank the Emperor, this is just the kind of mod I have been hoping for since I got into 40k 7 years ago. I will be tracking this mod, and when the time comes I will happily beta test whatever you need. I'm glad you're starting with 2 factions, as taking on the 40k universe can get out of hand fast.
