Exactly. Sure he screws up in DoW, but who trusts an Eldar? The books by CS Goto also add some depth to his character, they're worth a look.

The Wolf Brothers were the only successor chapter of the Space Wolves, because Russ' geneseed isn't overly stable. Surprise, surprise. The chapter ultimately failed because of rampant Wulfen mutation, and quite a few Wolf Brothers turned to Chaos.
