I found a save that was somewhat close to where I got stuck. This time, I did not encounter this glitch. But, in case anyone else runs into this glitch, the item code for the grenade is "01097e2c".

I found a wierd glitch. At the part where you have turn to off the water pipe that's guarded by sentry guns, you can pick up grenades to use against them. I picked up a few, then went towards the first sentry guns, then got hit by them. A message came up saying that I couldn't equip broken items.

I went and picked up the other grenades, but they wouldn't appear in my hand. I now had infinite grenades. After turning off the water pipes, I went towards the room, in which I was blocked off by force fields. It said that I had to remove all items. So, I started throwing the grenades down the hole, but the glitch gave me infinite grenades, so I never ran out.

I'm now stuck in this room and i don't have a save to revert to. Is it possible that there is an item code that i can use to remove or unequip the grenades?
