Regarding your project(s), perhaps this could be of interest to you?

My name is Fredrik Persson and I'm a project manager and content developer (picture & copy) living in Sweden.

Some friends of mine is responsible for the "International Games Production Studies". The courses are project based, they run in two modules for one year and teams are allowed to apply together. Not only allowed actually, they do encourage it!

It's also ON LINE (distance based) so you do your thing from within the comfort of your own home. The goal of it all is to have people finish their games and publish them.

So if you have a team, or half a team, this could be an opportunity to find development time, professional feedback, all kinds of support, great talent for your team and at the same time, to deepen you knowledge about games production. Individuals are also welcome to apply of course. There is no admission fee, only a maximum of 200 USD for materials, and only if needed. This is a Swedish Gouvernment initiative so all International students are treated the same as the Swedish ones and we don't have admissions fee here.

The education also has a press release up on CGW

This game was developed by a group of students as part of taking these courses.

IGPS proud itself with being up to date and using the same work flow as the industry does in on line production environments. Also a significant group of people from the industry is part of the whole package as guest lecturers. IGPS is a "fourth year" with a masters accreditation (possible for those who want to do a thesis but not necessary). IGPS is also part of Gotland University who was one of the first university's to develop a game education. Former students from the school is present at all the big Swedish game studios such as Starbreeze (Chronicles of Riddick), Dice (Battlefield 1942), Grin (Ghost Recon), Avalanche Studios (Just Cause).

I thought perhaps you could be interested or that you perhaps know some people who could be (feel free to send this to them if you do)?

You can read more about the courses and apply at

Check this out and if you have any questions don't hesitate to get back to me. You can reach me at MSN.

(that mail is not alive though, it's an old one)

This is not a spam and I hope it's alright with everyone that I do contact you like this?

Regards,

Fredrik Persson (Sweden)

The WIP shots of the karts look great! I didn't think they looked that low poly myself, but I guess it sort of fits the style of the original games :)

I saw the Help Wanted ad and was wondering if you're still looking for sound guys? I'm a musician and have never worked on a mod before so have no portfolio to show anyone. This would be an ideal starting place.
I was a big fan of both MK64 and the original SNES version, and would love to be on board doing music for this project. Steel drums FTW :)

Please message me back here or drop an email (if that's an option - total noob here!) either way. This is on my watch list now.

Good luck!
