Yeah it is unplayable, I cannot play this mod. Keep being shot at across the map. Sometimes there is shooting so far away I think it's another firefight.. Until suddenly I'm getting shot at by things I can't even see. Ridiculous.

There is no problem with my PC, I am not an idiot. I built this PC with my own hands. i5 6600k running at 4.2, 1060 6GB OC, 16GB RAM (also OCd) all running on an SSD. I reinstalled the entire mod + patch, deleted user.ltx and shaders cache. In Cordon? 22fps on medium settings. If you scroll through the comments you will see more people tell you this mod runs like ****.

Anomaly, CoC, CoM, Dead Air etc all run 50- 60 fps at all times. This is not normal. I give up on trying to run this

No man, I torrented + installed the patch from Google Drive. Like I said, glitchy textures that are fixed by doing r_viewport_near in user.ltx. But the performance is atrocious. I mean it is impossible to get 60 fps on almost any settings and I would love to play this but ffs.. If you have any ideas why this could be I will gladly try to fix it.

Flickering fix worked and no it's not mentioned that much at all. And the fact you have to go through comments to make it work.. Lmao. Why not put it in the mod description if it's such a big issue??

Shadows are already 1000, that option enabled. No excuse for why it should run this poorly. I have an i5 6600k 4.2ghz, 1060 6gb, 16gb OC ram and running on an SSD and barely just barely getting 40 fps. Ridiculous.

I'm really trying to figure this mod out to enjoy it. But it seems like the AI has some serious wallhacks. I got a mission to kill a stalker in Meadow. But they detected me already halfway through the map through walls/buildings etc. Whats up with that? And saving in combat is impossible but is there a way to disable that option? Basically can't save as soon as there is 1 mutant nearby. It's super annoying man.

I still can't figure out stashing things. It seems impossible to create stashes and the only places to stash is in those boxes? There are not that many and with the fact that you can't store that much it brings the question how to store the base necessities. Because the AI is insanely overpowered and the only way the player can counter this is by being well prepared. But how can you be well prepared when you cannot even store basic ****?

Another problem is when you're bleeding you have to open inventory just to see which body part is bleeding to bandage that body part. It holsters your weapon and basically you will get shot in combat so I guess the idea is that if you get shot you are doomed 100% which just encourages save scumming to the max until you perfect it and reloading 100 times? Odd design.

Final question, why does my character lose stamina and start wheezing for breath when I'm just walking and not even running?

"Immersive" doesn't mean ****. The mod description says nothing about the features of the mod beyond generic info that you just gave me. I tried the mod, it seems like a soup of add as much to the mod as possible until it crashes kinda mod.

I am on the verge of trying this mod but I can't find what this mod is even about? Is it difficulty? Soup a-la SGM? Can someone tell me how difficult is this mod? Because I do not want a walk in the park type of gameplay.

I did a fresh reinstall of this mod and there are still problems.

First off certain textures in close proximity to one another clip through eachother and "flash" when you move. This is known as Z-Fighting. It's very very apparent and I haven't found anything to fix it. On top of that the performance is atrocious with constant out of memory crashes (I have 16GB Ram and 6GB VRAM running no Medium-High). Normal AREA runs fine for me, this runs like garbage. Even with all the extras off.

My point is that you increased the limits to such a high amount that it is basically cheating, not just a bump in carry weight. I had to remove the addon because it felt completely unfair to be able to carry so much

Hello and thank you for the reply. I will turn this option off as it seems like it is a terrible pain in the ***. I will get a dosimeter too.

When I say work as stashes i mean can I put stuff in a backpack and then "hide" it. Drop it somewhere? Will it get looted by STALKERs or will it disappear/despawn? Otherwise I use a box right? I don't even store so much stuff mostly food and medical items.

Tried this mod and so far like it, but don't understand some things.

1. Why does my food become irradiated? And what do I do when it becomes irradiated? Do I discard everything and buy new items?

2. Is there a certain threshold for how much radiation is needed until stuff becomes irradiated?

3. Wet items, how do you they become wet and how can you dry them?

3. Playing a loner you cannot select Cordon for start, is that intentional or what?

4. How do you stash things? Making backpack stash doesn't seem to work and putting stuff in them then dropping.. Won't it despawn the backpack or what?

Fresh install of this mod + patch. If Post Processing is on (no matter effects). Screen flashes black/white in horizontal lines until turned off. When off, pretty much irregardless of settings the game runs like ***. It looks like ShoC on LOW settings but runs at about 20 fps in Cordon. I don't understand this.. I've ran CoC, Anomaly and a million other mods almost always max.

I like this addon. New scopes are awesome, the new weapons are also welcome. I love the new icons for the backpacks. Previously I think the icons for the backpacks were just straight up stupid. This is far more realistic.

I guess in the end you are right about the Freedom-Ecologist relations. I did not think of it that way. For example it actually makes sense because Freedom is very anarchist and "for the people". Ecologists are at the end of the day a government institution.

Mercs are enemies of the Loners in default Anomaly, agreed. But in my opinion, this is retarded. For example, Mercenaries are well, Mercenaries. They take contracts. It makes sense both logically and lore-wise that loners would pay mercenaries to do dirty work when they require a professional. Although I do agree, MOST mercenaries have an outsider they work for.. Realistically, a situation where you create pockets/squads of mercenaries that work independently for money makes sense. So I like your change.

As I understood it, those Ecologists with Merc suits are supposed to be Mercs that work for the Ecologists. They have Merc lines too from what I could tell. So e,g that's one way to represent them as independent. They are under the "Eco" flag.

Finally. Do I need to start a new game for this to function? I'm considering trying it. Thanks mate.

I like the idea of neutrality with tension. That seems right for Loner-Mercenary relations.

2) I guess that's a good point. But Freedom also want to study the zone and it seems as though on this factor some form of neutrality would be okay.

3) Yes I know about the events in Shoc but a lot of time went by until CoP and post-COP (CoC/Anomaly etc). What I'm wondering then is.. Being a Mercenary, how are you supposed to do the main story if the ecologists are hostile to you? It's a difficult one for me. Because I feel there are many Mercs that would likely enter the zone to collaborate with Eco's.

I like some stuff, and I understand your points. Other stuff is not your lack of knowledge.. Just limits with scripting. E.g loners aren't really supposed to be a faction or the mercs for that matter. They should have relations based on squads but there is no scripting for that.
