This game is gargantuan; the level of simulation is so high and the gameplay options are so many and so good that Dwarf Fortress is an absolute must-have for every videogame player interested in a territory-management simulation.
Managing all of this features is hard as hell, and I think it's almost impossible to start playing without counting on the Dwarf Fortress Wiki and all of its guides. Despite this, the game is so good that it deserves a 10 out of 10 mark.
This is already a milestone for this generation (it already inspired other successfull games, such as Minecraft), and will be an absolute classic in the times to come.
All of the flavour of old-school 2D games, with an extremely fresh gameplay, an amazing soundtrack, and a lot of citations from Terminator and Hokuto no Ken. I'm really really recommending this game.
