I'd say this is right. If there is any place for the Free Folk to survive is somewhere away from Westeros. Although I'd love to see an epic battle between the wildlings and the dothraki ;P

I must say, in version 2.2 some quests like the sticks and stones and a few others are bugged. So far playing this for a few years this has been a defining mod for Warband.
I have experienced better game dynamics with each version but in the end cool, neat, nostalgia things keep disappearing. One thing to mention is how the throne room in King's Landing was being used for gathering lords and ladies and many castles and cities had original, new rooms etc. Why get rid of good things? Also, why change quests that were fun and worked 100% of the time for the bugged 2.2 version with added small differences that make no difference in the game lore or the quest? Looking forward to playing 3.0 with the new troops although I love the troops now. New quests for unique items would be nice.

I was just wondering why King's Landing does not have the throne room as the main castle room with the 1.5 or 2.0 versions? And if there was a way to change it to being the main room without actually going back to 1.2?

I loved the spacious interior and the room was well done. I mean if you are going to rule Westeros, which chair would you rather sit in? Some wooden chair next to a fireplace and the lion(which is actually offensive to me since once King's Landing is mine I do not wish to see lions any longer in my castle) or sit in the iron throne with lines of people in your hall?

I always loved having King's Landing as my capitol city as it was a kingly place to visit but now it's really almost like the original Mount and Blade Warband in there?

Wondering if anyone found the next best place to make the capitol?

I cannot tell you enough how much I love this mod, especially with Django music and Django character in it haha. Talk about going with the popular flow ;D

This is the only mod I almost did not use TweakMB at all, which says a lot about the thinking that went into making this mod.

Please make a new version for us with 1.66, even if the last works; it's a long ways from Bannerlord still.

it may be because it is a capital city....like King's Landing with Gold Cloaks as another 300 on top of the already existing 350 troops pr more....it makes sense if the eastern cities had sellswords.

also, it takes a quest in-game to unlock the 3 main fortresses in the north. You get the quest somewhere in Westeros lol.

also the north wall is in the south...north is the south on the map(sloppy work lol) unless you spin it around to the correct position. Hope my sarcastic help is helpful ;)

Teaches you not to pointlessly click! hah!....I never lose anything because i use protection with in-game hookers and I use a spear or a bow hunting the darn pigs...hope that helps? Also, no need to rape naked girls and eat unknown mushrooms. This game teaches COMMON SENSE.

But it turned out to be not save game compatible as I kept getting shaders, errors, etc constantly(one of the save games where i could not even move on the map) so no more being an Emperor of most of Europe for me, but I was getting tired of that game anyways ;D

If you have the latin names...I know it can be annoying so just unpack the en folder in languages folder in 1257 ad mod folder and you will live the life you want to live- 1257 ad mod all day after work with your girl on your lap making hot pockets ;P

Hi ivanhoe, sweet mod. Thank you for taking the time to make this. I have a question, You said this is based on Deus Crusader...which is based on 1.143. Just wondering, is this 1.143 then? I know it works with 1.158.

Lmao I am surprised someone would not know what the Orthodox religion is? Think of the religion as this- Orthodox Christianity is the old Christianity, that is usually regarded as the original Christian religion, as the name suggests. The Great Schism, as suggested was the division, or more so a separation of the Orthodox Church into two parts, the Roman Catholicism and the Orthodox Church of Constantinople. The religion is largely dominant in areas of Turkey, Greece, Eastern Europe and now...lol Canada. The only reason Orthodox religion is not as well known as Catholicism is because of the principal cutthroat politics of Rome. Now which engine did the mod base itself on? 1257? 1.148? 1.158? Brytenwalda?

So I play this on 1.158 version and love it! the 1257 ad mod was my favorite but it would crash when i would besiege a castle or city with a large amount of lords so I ended up trying this as a substitute and love it! I played a bit and got my guts handed to me by some deserters, which is unusual since the only time I was not able to go 1 vs 25 men was Brytenwalda. Thank you for telling us what you based it on, because I thought it was 1257 or Brytenwalda. Will TweakMB it a bit so I can gain more honor and rep from freeing lords and have more prisoners. Thank you for this wonderful masterpiece!

check if the mod is in the modules folder of M&B Warband. You may have installed it in the wrong place. should be something like ProgramFiles/Mount and Blade Warband/Modules/1257 ad....then start the launcher(M&B Warband) and pick from the list of mods(Native as the original).

I was wondering if there are any fixes for crashes when besieging a town or castle with a lot of lords(7+). I have a great laptop and sometimes it crashes when I click wait to build siege weapons or wait another day for others to catch up at the besieging location; or sometimes when I click to lead into battle. Does not happen unless many lords and I never crash otherwise, even if 40+ lords in same location raiding a village with me.

If I were to click to camp and wait with 20+ lords I would not crash. I love this game so much. Please a little help! I have latest 1.58 Warband and kill the peasants 1.3 mod. I am somewhat knowledgeable with script editing and modding.

I have a problem with the mod and I have searched everywhere for the fix with no luck. I LOVE this mod and it is my favorite. Work of genius at best. Recommend to all!

The problem I am having is when I create my kingdom and my first vassas shows up, which is Dhakir from Emirate as the first one. Before that the game is great and if I do not talk and let vassals join or reject them then I do not have any map issues. I get a random crash on map after I let vassals join or reject them in my capital of Riga. I played for 100 days more to a total of 260 days defeating Novgorod(starting as Novgorod), the small kingdoms next to Novgorod, Lithuania and a large part of Poland. Halych and upper Sweden. I had no problems prior and I actually figured out a lot of it...played again and realized it happens after I get vassals and game crashes only on map, especially when I lead soldiers into battle.
The mod made this game my favorite game of all time so I would love to get a fix to play this between work and sex.

England and France were about the same, using same feudalistic troops except that the French had no longbowmen(since it took a generation to train one just like knights and that was stupid). Spain and Portugal and other insignificant principalities would also field the same troops using the idea of feudalism. Think Western Powers- crusader armies...A large part of the Holy Roman Empire and more eastward towards the people of the Rus it was no longer Western Culture and I would say that Poland(not Lithuania since they were pagans), Denmark, Italy(especially crown of Aragon which consisted of both Muslim armies, Greek Orthodox armies and those of Central and Northern Italy not to mention French Lords who took the crown fielded the feeble French and lost the Kingdom;) should field different troops than most other Countries of the Crusader Kingdoms.

Actually, the Irish would pick a chieftain who would protect the Irish culture and lands despite being very decentralized rather than plutocratic(like the English or Scottish or Scandinavian countries with a King with strong powers.People think that just because they did not have Kings all this time that they did not have a government. Any place has a government and the Irish had something close to a tribal chieftain confederacy to defend it's borders. They later actually picked a chieftain as a King who fought the English crown and ended up being destroyed by the centralized Normans who were successful due to a feudalistic society which was needed for powerful armies at the time.

What happened was the English dominated the British Isles and while Wales became obsolete, Great Britain was forged by 3 crowns. You may guess which. Many places in Europe and outside were in a way vassals of a powerful King...so say a Duke or Baron has a region...they may still display their own flag, etc. but serve a powerful King. In France what happened was they had a lot of rober Barons who did not wish to adhere to the vague laws of Paris and did whatever they wished...still paying homages...

No sarcasm intended I'm sure. That IS the way to celebrate after having something like a 20% chance of dying of a bullet and 90% chance of dying from a surgery that removes a bullet :)
