Thrawn's Revenge 2.2 has finally arrived with much more content than ever before and this weekend I've finally had some time to test it out a little.
Starting off with some space skirmish with Pentastar and the Empire of the Hand.
Image 1: The new Venator model looks very good and is like a 150% increase in quality compared to Version 2.1.
Image 2: Eriadu Authority is getting a visit of Kaine's fleet.
Image 3: The new Peltast Destroyer of the EotH looks really fancy, like an actual flying sword, and it has quite the powerful long range options.
Image 4: Derp, that's quite a bulky Star Fortress they have there, with luggage safety apparently not a concern. ;P
Afterwards, let's test a small GC (Stars Align) with the New Republic against Pentastar and the Empire under Isard,
Image 5: LUKE, ready to wreck shit and expand the influence of the New Senate. (The Legends New Republic is dozens better than the farce in the new Disney Canon!)
Image 6: A bad day for Grand Moff Kaine. The mighty SSD Reaper is going to fall to 3 measly Assault Frigates. Thrawn's assessment of SSDs being a waste of resources doesn't show better than here.
Image 7: This Praetor II Battlecruiser also has a VERY bad day!
Image 8: Let's test the new boarding shuttles and steal an Imperial Star Destroyer!
Image 9: Success, the New Republic now has an ISD in its fleet.
Image 10: Our new asset in action. (Why the ISD spawns only a single TIE-Fighter squadron is baffling though, perhaps a glitch)?
