Good parts of the mod:
Clearly, level design is awesome and shows the huge amount of effort put in it. New weapons showing the rebel-versions of default hl2 weapons are cool and do add a bit of variety.(even though shotgun sucks). As for the bad parts:
The ending seems a bit rushed and poorly performed and that slightly cuts away all good impressions which is bad(I know that you can’t judge a game by it’s ending only, but any ending leaves the most impact on the player after finishing the game, hence why they’re VERY important). I’ve noticed a few small bugs, but they weren’t critical.
To summarise, I know what working on level design is and how it always takes the most part in any mod development and that part of the game is done really well, all custom assets and textures make the whole mod look unique. But as I said, the rushed ending is a very risky thing, because it can leave the player disappointed and by that I mean not the plot, but the way it’s done. Gorkin did a great job and I can’t make myself give it less than 10/10 not only because of things above, but the fact that the mod is done by a single person and I really know what it’s like. The thing I call mod-developer’s solidarity is what makes me appreciate any effort like one shown in this mod.

Мне немного не понравился game_text после обучения, который прямым текстом говорит игроку как получить трушную концовку, и хотя я осознаю что это сделано для того, чтобы не заставлять игроков переигрывать весь мод, да и мне кажется что добавлен он был далеко не сразу, он слегка подламывает погружение. Честно, концовку можно было и улучшить, возможно просто автор не силён в создании катсцен и постановок в сурсе. В целом это отлично выглядящий мод с прекрасным левелдизом, да и сама задумка интересна, но здесь, мне кажется, ясно показано сколько времени берут на себя левелдиз и дизайн окружения. Вы не подумайте, я не графоdrocher, я на себе ощутил этот переход от работы над картами с простейшим дизайном к серьёзному маппингу и не могу недооценивать старания других. Горкину респект за такой проект и я надеюсь его жертва своих сил и времени будет вдохновлением для другим моддеров, а также и уроком как для него самого, так и для опытных мододелов.

Mod review

I've encountered a few small bugs, like the famous "node graph outdated" or music stopping after loading a save, but nothing that breaks the game.

Gunplay, visual effects new sounds(from insurgency probably, but who cares) are awesome and impressive, especially with the ability to change these in extended options.

Maps look really good, though some things are strange(no buttons at the elevator on the surface, zombies coming from caution tape)

The only thing that could have been a problem in case if the mod was longer is that the plot is not that good and there aren't any other dialogs except for the radio guy, without plot(or increasing the dialogue numbers) this project can look like some techdemo, honestly. But I still would recommend this to play.

I would like to see more plot going on and more gameplay variety, as this can get boring in time.

This still has lots of potential, but there should be something more than new visual effects.
