Gaming, Modding and Computing Stuff.
I downloaded Windows 7 RC1 64-bit edition, but I have not had time to install it. No gaming this week, hopefully I stay sane.
General Stuff.
I just discovered that I hate Java. You can blame my programming assignment for that. Visual Basic was so much easier. Right now, I'm rushing around to get assignments done...4 assignments in total. I haven't finished one and they've handed out another one for the same unit. Crazy!
I finished encoding the 214 episodes of Stargate SG-1, 105 GB in total, quite an improvement from 419 GB. Encoding over 6 days of Stargate took nearly 5 days. Now to encode Continuum, Ark of Truth and Stargate Atlantis; I still have to wait for the Season 5 DVD set to be released though.
The decision has been made to look for a laptop, the lens will be bought at the end of the year. Sadly, customizable laptops aren't that common and are mind-blowingly expensive, it's hard to get a combination of hardware components that meet my requirements. Too bad, I'll just have to compromise, but it must have Windows XP!
Still busy. When will this torture end?
