I don't understand why you people are going ballistic about this mod...
Sure, the creators may be doing it for their own purposes, but I see this as an improvement upon the game. Not only will it show people the true brutality of war, but it will also show you the true grit and determination those soldiers exhibited under those horrific circumstances.
Personally, I'm a fan of major gore and ultra-graphic realism, simply because it adds SO much to the depth and sense of destruction in war games.
I'm honestly sick of the lack of blood and gore - people get the idea that World War II was just an over-glorified playground for people with machine guns and rockets...
That's the truly tasteless aspect, if you ask me.
Honor the fallen, and honor the heroes, for without them, the world would be a much more evil place.
