It was the antivirus - I've tried several game/mod combos just to be sure and it was just that. My AV is ESET NOD32 for info.

Now, off with their heads!

Great mod! I hadn't played the game for years, this mod made me reinstall it. And it's probably going to be installed for every playthrough from now on!

I haven't managed to get the installer working properly though, I'm using the manual package instead.

With the installer, which I set to the game directory, the mod is always missing something (F12 isn't working, or the menu isn't appearing in the options. When I use it to uninstall, my save crashes when loading (I've got a backup, no big deal). In case I encounter a bug, I'd rather use the installer/uninstaller than manual copy-paste. Am I doing something wrong or is there a specific folder to install the mod in, apart from the main directory? (I'm using the GOG version)

Thanks a lot for the tutorial! It really clarifies things, even for someone who has never modded before. Time to try!
