yeah i always though that anakin hate who he had become, however sidious was confident that his apprentice will never return to the light side
In the comic's that Mr. Blackman (ex boss of Lucasarts, leader of TFU) is writing for Dark Horse, Vader is shown being miserable and regretting his decisions this comic is just about a month after ROTS tough, and you see him yelling NOOOOO because of Padme's death so it's safe to say that he is not happy at what he lost to become what he is.
