I remember years ago when I first saw Tamagotchi's, as a kid I thought "cool a pet you can take anywere with you". Then there came the next generation of digital pets that allowed you to connect them together and battle ( I cant remember what they were called but it was like having a pocket wrestler ), and I thought "even better a pet that can I can not only feed, but train, and battle with other people."

Then that fad died a slow death as, if I remember correctly, Nintendo came out with a smaller version of the original Gameboy and then the advent of Pokemon. Ah Pokemon, cool for about 6 months before it was taken over but little kids and became a very "Geeky" thing to play ( I was in 8th grade I think by that time and I was about the ONLY one to be interested in it, in my entire school ).

Then came PlayStation which again brought a new form of digital pet in games like "Monster Rancher", and "Jade Cocoon". Games that allowed more in-depth battle, and better graphics. But these two fell to the way side for me because like so many past digital pets the ability to share the experience was not available to me.

I am only speaking for myself here, I'm sure there may have been man other people who were able to battle it out playing monster Rancher, but I think the vast majority of people were not so fortunate.

But I feel that now with Phones becoming more and more web enabled, a whole new opportunity has been opened up to share the digital pet experience. From feeding and cleaning, to training and battling, this experience can be available to anybody with a Android, or Iphone.

I am currently thinking of a design for a game much like Monster rancher, but on an MMO scale.

If this interests you please comment here I am open to Ideas, and if you are familiar with programing for android devices Im REALLY open to ideas.

Thanks for reading,

PS Im thinking something like Mondroids, or PokeDroid. I know not that creative but its a start ;)
