At the same time, Stalin was a pretty scary guy. I think he is the reason why the USSR ceased to exist as a nation. He stood in the way of their natural progress just as Truman and the subsequent US neo-conservative fundamentalists in power stood in the way of progress in the United States.

Well, the only problem with Putin is he's been in power for quite a while. It just seems kind of odd.
There are many Americans as well as Jews who are anti zionist.
