"I no program more. You're awesome." Go me.

Anyway, it was fun while it lasted. Few comments though:

(*spoilerish)
1. Bugs in cutscenes that assume my character is in a specific place.
1a. Krak deal scene (in the cave) - if you talk to the first pirate more than once, he'll move more than once and will get stuck during the cutscene that follows.
1b. Talking to *that guy you see at the very very end, after you technically win the game* assumes you're talking from his left. Talking from above will stuck the following cutscene. Very annoying, because you have to kill the boss again.
2c. If you kill the troll (I think that was a troll) before meeting the elder in the very first forest then the elder won't give you a sword, but he'll act as if he had.

2. Few other things were frustrating, but here they are anyway:
2a. Fishing... yes, I actually went back all the way to the village thinking that I missed something.
2b. Never found 5th fungus for the second ingredient quest (there are only 4 in the cave?).
2c. It's not that obvious what to do in the desert when your teammate leaves you for a while (especially if you visited everything already).
2d. One of many teleporters (4th, counting from the first savepoint) in the last location will teleport you to a location with no way back. Poor you if you didn't save...
2e. Spellbook is not marked in any way. Then again, it's probably by design.
2f. No poison recovery in the sewers (well) but a poison inducing creature at the very beginning. A bit further, a very overpowered Wisp.
2g. Not enough of promised satire... (by that I mean, not enough dialoques).

Even with all of the above, First Fantasy was a very nice break from the tedium of cookie cutter rpg's I usually have the misfortune to play. Good job.

Few steps to the east from that port city you'll find a small lake and a clearing beside it (the tree tile, I think).
