Maybe the fact that it is not on Steam might be the issue, have you tried to change from the initial file which the system looks for when you launch the executable.bat of the mod? I think with the hardcopy it uses the kingdoms.exe instead of the medieval2.exe file.

Also apologies for the late reply, I have been quite busy the past few months :)

I am glad you so interest in the mod :) I honestly don't know when I will be able to overcome this problem. Too little time irl and I have very little experience with texturing in mtw2 :/

My best bet would be if a modder in texturing assisted but none have stepped forward thus far.

I still have not managed to get around the texturing problem :/

Hello all and a happy new year, Mod developer here! Rest assured that I am still working on the mod, it is just a very slow process as I am busy with real life issues :/

The most recent development was that the events were not firing properly but I managed to fix that. The next topic would be to attempt to resolve the issue with the real-time battle unit textures. For now I will only add the vanilla textures. Of course if someone knows a person who does this more professionally I would be more than happy to have a chat as I do plan to add some better textures for future releases.

Until then have a good one folks!

Hey, I will look into this issue about Tunis. As for the silvery units this is due to the fact that they have no texturing as this mod was initially developed for hotseat campaign (which do not include real time battles). However, I do plan to add at some point the unit textures (even the vanilla ones) but I need to find the time to do it. I am glad you are enjoying the mod :)

The Karamalids had captured Iconium one time but were driven out by the Ilkhanate before the time of the start of the campaign. Other attempts to capture it were at the start of the 13th century but this of course is up to the players to attempt.

Thank you Arkov for the feedback, were there any further issues with the UI aside from the zoom of the minimap?

Thank you both for the interest. This mod is first and foremost destined to be played as a hot-seat campaign. Therefore models/textures for models for real-time battles do not exist in this mod which correspond to the units in it. We might consider adding them at a later time if we are capable to.

Hm, this could be for any number of reasons. Would you be willing to provide a few further details of how you installed it or with your permission a picture of your in-game mod directory for medieval 2 total war?

Thank you for the interest moneyman :D There is a possibility. I will definitely upload another version with fixes to the aesthetic issues that you have pointed out along with any others that might turn up.

There were in the works some other juicy things like additional historic events, emerging generals for each faction and the like but this will depend largely on free-time of me and the co-creator of the mod which is scant at the moment.

Will definitely keep posting updates when progress is being made ;)

Hello, are the textures missing from the real-time battles or the campaign map?

Actually those are intentional as they fill the same slot in various factions as the mid to high tier infantry and cavalry respectfully but you are right that maybe I should add further variety to the unit cards.

The map was really hard a detailed work. I actually took a geophysical map to create it and it was one of the more "creative" parts of modding in my opinion. Next to creating the faction symbols :)

I do apologize, it was not intentional. Was it one of the first crossbow units?

It is possible to add real-time battles at some point in the future but it has not been determined yet.

We do require a modeller in the team for that or else for me to put in the free-time which is scarce at the moment.

But I do understand your sentiment as I do love the real-time battles myself :)

Hey dev team. Me and a friend of mine started creating a mod for battles. It will be set in the universe of Mount and Blade (and so a medieval theme) and I was wondering if you would be so kind as to allow us to use some of the meshes for weapons, armour and the like from your mod.

Waiting for your reply and all best!
