I feel like I should add, if anyone is using the Immersive HD mod, you must first run the game through "RBDoom3BFG.exe" and load up Erebus 3. Then run it the normal way. I'm not sure why, but this worked.

Disregard that last post. I made a ridiculous minor mistake. Removing the "zombified_jumpsuit" file worked. You sir have done a good deed. Many people would have been like "Too bad. So sad. Figure it out." I'm truly grateful. You have a mighty fine day.
It worked with the Hi Def mod alone, but as soon as I tried it with Immersive HD as well, it had the error again.
I hate to ask this, but I'm not sure what else to do. Would you be willing to try reinstalling the mod on a clean copy of the game just to test it? I've reinstalled it about 8 times now, and it really just does not work. Only Erebus 3.
It goes the the start up page that lists all the companies involved with the game, and the error is:
"Doom 3 BFG Edition has stopped working.
A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
Well, I love the mod, but I'm unable to load Erebus 3. I've tried version 2.7 and 2.8. I've also tried removing generated files, but it doesn't make a difference. Please look into it.
I just experienced this issue. It crashes to desktop when I don't even run Immersive HD. Hi Def 2.7 alone causes crashes. Anyone know which version works for sure?
I am the Guest, and I have come back with answers. If you wish to return to the original model and position of the Chaingun, but keep all of the other changes, go to this link and download the file:
Unzip into the Doom 3 BFG directory. Overwrite everything.
I'm quite surprised I figured this out. I'm still very new to modding.
