i think you might've misunderstood what i said. don't get me wrong- the island is fun in its own right, BUT when compared to the original HL1 mod, it's a disappointment. for starters, it's about 1/3 as long, throws out a lot of what made the original fun, and doesn't add anything new.

play the original dead sector mod, which the island is a remake of. here's a link: Planetphillip.com

it's in czech, but there's almost no voice acting (unlike the otherwise excellent cleaner's adventures, which was all in russian) and it's generally fairly easy to figure out. PM me if you DO get stuck.
