At the moment, we're heading towards the game being free. :)

It's a nice looking engine, and it also has a lot of freedom in what you can achieve in it.

We've been working on RnL 2 within the Cryengine 3 long before those other games, and I have not even heard of half them. :)

(also, Source Engine is horrible to work in)

All the character models we have shown off are simple placeholders from the original mod, and we have yet to show any of the new animations.

No idea what you're talking about man, there's post about this on the original forum, even posts about recruiting for the project.

We actually have quite a few old members, actually. Stefan (Winston), our current project lead, was a very important member on the Source version. Eero is back too, along with a few others.
Hope this clears a few things up.

Well, I might pass the idea onto the rest of the team, and if they think it's alright I'll message you. ;)

You gotta keep some form of competition. We'd prefer to use only our own assets to make our game unique. :)

For us to produce a 'game' using the Cryengine, regardless of it being free, we would still need to purchase an expensive license. If we produce it as a 'mod', we can give you, our players, an epic gaming experience without either you or us having to spend a cent. :)

Contact either me or Winston Churchhil about it. We're currently looking for mappers, programmers and 2D/3D artists. Message me your Skype name and I'll forward you to Stefan.

G'day to anyone whos reading this - I'm Raptor Jesus, part time mapper and I suppose head of advertising for this project. We're currently recruiting.

Greetings, and welcome. If you're reading this, you no doubt know of our current roles available in the dev team and what this project is. If you do not, we are porting/recreating our original (source) mod called "Resistance and Liberation" into the CryEngine 3. Our progress has been good so far, with weapons, vehicles, various models and some base gameplay already ported into CryEngine 3. Our team is currently hard at work getting everything sorted and ready for a future public (or closed) alpha that should be available in the coming months. In order to speed that process up, we are currently looking for new members to join our team - we require programmers (knowledge of LUA and C++/C# is a good start), mappers (those familiar with CryEngine 3 SDK are what we are looking for) and new 2D/3D artists (that includes modelers).

If you want to try out, you will be required to message either Stefan or Eero on the Forum, or just post a 'resume' in this thread. You must include the basics, such as past exeriences, something about yourself, how to contact you, ect. If we contact you back and allow you to try out, you will be required to complete a 'RoP' task (Right of Passage) before you are officially considered 'apart of the team'. Your RoP assignment will be based on the information you've provided (if you're a mapper, a greyscale test map will be required).

Also as an extra goodie - I've contact a YouTuber named "Criken2" and have secured him to make a video with us when we have a nice alpha version available. :)
