Although I dont know why your game is crashing "there", could be an installation mistake or a mod error maybe (I doubt it though), I would give you a hint: if you want the Native tournament's style back, you can disable tournament enhancements somewhere in the Mod Options inside the game. Maybe that works for you in the meanwhile that rare error is somehow solved.
