Even if nobody ever played NEOTOKYO...developing the game with my brother and friends would have been anything but 'wasted work'.

I encourage aspiring game developers to get involved in mods and see the project through to the end. Quality mod work opens the door to professional game dev jobs. It's proof of work ethic, creativity, and teamwork.

All traits that game company's value.

I'd first like to thank all the people who have taken the time to download and play NEOTOKYO. We are currently working to get our forums back online (on a better provider to handle all the traffic) and we are also working on our first patch (details coming later).

As far as 'listening to the community' - We're going let people play the current version for a while, silently noting what we think can be better, and those things will be addressed. In the end, not everything will be 'fixed' or make everyone happy though. We're not blind/deaf to peoples suggestions/frustrations, but we're not going to answer directly every criticism either.

Lolster, as a dev team, we have no issues with the Dystopia devs. So the link should used and supported.

NT sucks with over 24 players total, total clusterfu%k. Our maps won't support 64 players anyways.

Are you a modder Martin? If you are, i don't understand why you are so angry at NT getting some light shined on it? The NT team hasn't looked for the spotlight in all the years we've been working on this game, to the point of being criticized and called a 'dead mod'. I don't believe any NT devs have ever raged over the news/media posts of other mods here. NT is very close to release, after that we will go back into the shadows and stop annoying you. So how about some respectful reciprocation as a fellow mod developer?

The torso is the objective in our Capture the Flag based gameplay called Capture the Ghost. Simply - 2 teams, 1 flag (torso), fighting to control and capture the ghost. The player who possesses the 'Ghost' has the ability to 'see' enemy locations and can relay this information to the rest of the his/her team.
