My name is Sheldon Quantum and you could say that I'm a kind of main.scm coder, .dat, .cfg, .ide, .dff, .txd and GXT Editor. So basically I know what I'm doing with texture files like dff and txd and I know what I'm doing with files like .dat, .ide and GXT anyway's my main interest and research is on main.scm as I am familiar with what causes the main.scm to create errors such as unhandled exception and ways on how to fix them and to make sure they don't mess up the game again. I can add new codes which work most of the time and I can make my own mini mission scripts which work really well in the game, so it all started when I was playing Vice City and completed 100% and got bored and so I started searching up mods and well you know how the story goes. I am currently researching and learning CLEO scripting, working on new K.I.T.T. 2000 texture files for Vice City Edition, working on new K.I.T.T. 2000 sound files, working on new mission scripts for BTTF Hill Valley mod TBA

It's been a long time, how have you been man?, I got so busy in my new job that I stopped modding :( but now that I've got some free time I have started modding again. I have got some really good CLEO scripts for San Andreas if you're interested. Because I'm a huge BatMan fan I downloaded the Gta SA Dark Knight Begins mod and along the way have been making it better for my use. Lately someone released the Arkham Knight BatMobile for SA so I downloaded it right away and after I tried it I had to have some functions for this BatMobile so I gathered some sweet vehicle weapon scripts and modified them so they could also be used in RC mode so really having fun with that. Also tried out the BatMobile script and IronMan mod for IV created by my good old friend Julio. Good to see you're still active on moddb.

What's the point of making a mod like this with no installer?. If you're taking the time to make a mod at least take the time to also make an installer so everything works properly so we can actually play the mod FFS. For me it was a lode of BS, I installed it and did everything it said in the readme tried spawning the bat vehicles and the game crashed. Then tried looking for the batcave and there was nothing there just the normal lake. Spawn point is **** because we have to drive/fly all the way to the so called batcave. Next version release it with an auto installer so it actually works!

BTW thisdp what program do you use to model is it Zmoddler? and do you also use Map Editor? cause that's why I use if I wan't to model :D

I'm also making a SSC for my friends new Gta VC FLAG 2013 project which will be in production hopefully this spring XD

That's sad to hear but congrats on your baby and becoming a dad :D
I hope SRR carries on because it's such a great mod and it'll be a shame to just end it here. I believe we can add many more features and ideas to SRR and I'm sure someone else will be able to continue it. To be honest if I wasn't busy with my friends project I would have loved to take over SRR's legacy from where you left it. But hopefully someone like Del88US or Mini-Me or any other coder will carry on SRR I hope. If not after I have finished with my friends project and see no one has continued SRR then I will take over with a small team XD

I have 2 questions for you about SRR 2.2.3 Agent-K57.

1. Is it normal for the game to crash if you leave KI3T parked far away from you or if you enter any building and KI3T automatically disappears off the map and you get lag and a constant beeping sound

2. Is there any way you for you to save your game with this mod because I found a save cassette in CJ's house and it saves fine but when I load the saved game it crashes and SA Limit Adjuster comes up on screen reporting there's a problem with american.gxt

Now are these bugs of SRR 2.2.3 or is it just happening to me?

Thank you so much Agent-K57 you helped me out and the problem was the one you said be careful at 8:19 I was putting the gta.dat, map and script files in the SRR root, but when I followed this tutorial everything works like a charm.

Oh and by the way I've fixed the audio problem, I needed an updated cleo.asi file and when I installed the cleo.asi file from CLEO 4 update it works perfectly now. Happy New Year buddy and thank you for all your help and thank you for making a new tutorial XD.

Ok Agent-K57 I have found out what's causing the audio problem. The games is reading the audio folder inside SRR cleo folder and not reading from the normal San Andreas audio folder. All I got to do now is somehow get the game to read both folders but keep the original audio folder as 1st priority and the one in the cleo second.

Any ideas how I can get this to work?

Thanks for helping me out Agent-K57 I really appreciate it. I've already got Alci's IMG Editor, I always use it, It's the best one when dealing with IMG files. BTW I'm going to do a clean install of San Andreas and then Install SRR again only this time I'm going to install SRR to a different folder and then try and run it from there because that's what I did with KRNG and everything was working properly.

No I installed the mod to my Gta San Andreas folder and I can install it fully working up to v 0.2.3 but the problem is the game crashes now when I try and transform KI3T to Attack Mode and I also can't hear any game sounds at all like engine, horn or any at all not even footsteps. I don't know what's the cause of this as when I had KRNG installed the sound worked perfectly and when I did a clean install of Gta San Andreas the sound was also working and it's just after I install SRR that I can't hear any sound at all.

Do you know any fixes and Is it normal for the game to crash whilst transforming KI3T to attack mode in v 0.2.3?

If I delete knightrider2.IDE in data/maps the game doesn't load at all

I don't get why I can't hear the game sounds at all, all I can hear is a breeze of wind and KI3T Turbo Boost, gatling guns load/unload, rockets load/unload/fire, computer sounds, police siren in attack mode, SRR intro music and that's it. I can't hear any engine sounds or other game sounds whatsoever. Also when I update from 0.2.2 to 0.2.3 and transform KI3T to Attack Mode the game always crashes, it only works for me upto the 0.2.2 update and if I update to 0.2.3 I have to install SRR all over again.

Please can someone help me? I'm so lost right now.

Ok I've installed 0.2.3 and it's finally working!!! XD

Note: You're not supposed to delete knightrider2.IDE in data/maps, if you do the game will not load.

Now I'm stuck with one more problem, audio seems to be dead and I can't hear any engine sounds at all except for when I'm in KI3T Attack Mode and I can hear rockets firing, rockets loading, rockets unloading, gatling guns loaded, gatling guns unloaded but I can't hear them when they're firing. It's nothing to do with my sound card as I have a good quality one and I can hear the SRR intro and tranformation, turbo boost, and computer sounds but I can't hear cars engines or any brake sounds for some weird reason.

Can you help me like do I need to download and install audio files or delete something?

Ok I give up XD I can install it properly up to update 0.2.2 and it's working and then when I install update 0.2.3 everything goes down the drain and the game crashes at the start of the loading screen unfortunately.

Now I followed your video tutorial and the read me's so I don't know where I'm going wrong.

Hey Agent-K57 when I installed SRR V1.0a everything runs fine and then I install the 0.2.2 update and the game crashes half way through the loading screen and then I install 0.2.3 to fix the crash and it goes worse as it crashes at the start of the loading screen.

Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Ah yeah sorry about that I got a bit mixed up in the readme, so yeah you're right you have to HOLD 'SPACE' to open doors XD

I'm going to also release another update which fixes KITT 3000 RC mode health because I'm sure you've noticed that if you park KITT 3000 far away from you and use RC mode again KITT 3000 smokes and loses health. Also the same goes for KITT 3000 auto drive if KITT 3000 turns upside down in auto drive and you stop auto drive KITT 3000 catches fire and blows up. It's the problem with a code missing in KITT 3000 auto drive thread and that same code need changing in KITT 3000 RC mode thread.

It won't take long as I've already fixed it for KITT 3000 RC mode and now I'm just fixing it for the KITT 3000 auto drive code.

I'll let you know when it's done XD and it's just a shame that we can't add more weapons to KITT 3000 Attack Mode because there's very few opcodes used in Gta Vice City and that's why SanAndreas was the better option for a great Knight Rider mod like Shadow Rider Reloaded.
