I know how to spawn a ship, but after i leave the sandbox and go back to the hanger, there is no ship and i cant load one in? What is instructions board?

PLEASE HELP How do I save a ship, because whenever I enter sandbox I loose my ship even if i gave it a name, and pressed save before entering sandbox and then pressing load in hangar? I keep loosing my ships!!!!
