Hi, im James Borland, a community mapper for Source based games. I dont think im very good, but thats my personal oppinion. I always try my hardest and are testing with new things. Right now i am testing out bumpmaps and a way to get them to look dry and not like they were just pulled out of a sewer. I'll post some pics of what i have when i get the textures and screens transfered ovr to my better computer. I make maps for HL2, GMOD, and TF2 (still having troubles with TF2 map). I have a major liking for dark and damp level designs such as sewers, or anything containing water because it lets my custom textures go to work and rape the... erm... pixels (that one sucks) for damp lighting and varried long hallway radiosity, to small room settings (I don't know what i'm talking aboot xD).
