Sure I had mods that people liked, or despised. Some mods were a success, other a complete failure. Today I'm going to go over a few mods.
SWAT Reloaded
The mod was overkill, probably the largest CoD based mod to date. It was a failure in my book. Do I wish I never made it along with the help of Urded? no. It was a learning experience that helped shape what kind of modder I'm today. This mod lead to the death of Special Unit Blitzkrieg (SUB Clan) due to people not wanting to download such a large file. The main factor was the slow download speed of the CoD1 quake 3 based engine.
Revolt_2x
What was I thinking when I made the camo for the mp5, m4 and m16? It took me till Revolt_4x to make the mod worth playing.
SWAT Light
This was somewhere in the middle, I added a baton and knife to each team and lowered the file size. Some critics like the idea if trying to make a smaller yet better version of SWAT Mod. Though, others think I failed a making a better version of SWAT Mod. I really wish I tried this when making the mods for SUB clan. SUB may have survived if it wasn't for the large size of SWAT Reloaded.
Single Image Background Mod
This mini-mod was the most underrated mini-mod I made. Turns the two background images in CoD1/UO into one and adds the mod version, developer info, website, and mod name at the main menu. This was a success.
Ultimate Desert Eagle Skin Pack
My only mod for CoD4. Many different skins for the deagle. Highly rated on filefront. This was a success.
Mericless 2 v3.0
The Mod is unable to exec from a dedicated.cfg. Until a fix this bug this mod is a failure. But not a complete loss as I learned how to adjust the script menu files to add/remove or enable/disable weapons. This was another great learning experience.
GUI and Hud conversions
These conversions turn out well. This was a success.
Sincerely,
