You can open that file by using any text editor such as Notepad
Did you install it correctly? (Drop all the files into the game's directory)

I agree, he kind of is. Although the instant solos make up for that weakness, he only has 3 basic solos. This is actually how he exists in the game, and how the ai controls him in the single player campaign. Adding new spells is possible, but I'm not planning on updating this mod at the moment. I may do that later on sometime in the future. Thank you for your suggestion!
You can do that by modifying the all.proto file, which is located inside the 00Startup.~h and 00Startup.~p files. I haven't touched Brutal Legend for months, so I don't quite remember every string of code I replaced for it to work, but in order to change Eddie to Doviculus you'll need to search for the line that starts with "Prototype A01_Avatar :" and replace everything after that (until the next "Prototype" word) with the corresponding data starting from "Prototype D01_Avatar :". This will make the game think that its loading Eddie, but in reality it'll be loading Doviculus instead, including his animations and items. As for changing the units to different ones, I'm pretty sure its possible, but I've never done that so I don't know the exact way of doing it, sorry. Hope that helps!

Also, you have to select "Ironheade" in VS Ai battles to play as Lionwhyte.
