I wanted to say that this is very awesome. Thanks for the great animation changes and weapon changes. And I like that you have the support for the skin changer. I think this is better than the Evolved mod. Please keep it up friend!

After the release of the beta on November 5th, I can no longer pick up the assault rifle in the "Purist" class. Also, the Brutal Doom menu is completely absent from the main menu and pause menu.

This actually really nice. Any chance you'd split the mod into parts?

There does seem to be a glitch when using the "Purist" class. I can't pick up any rocket launchers and the sprite that usually displays said weapon as a pick-up is invisible. Also: what I assume to be the SMG in the purist class has no proper pick-up sprite, it merely uses the machinegun sprite found in the other classes.

I also think it'd be awesome to have the nice effects on the new weapons in the purist class. I love the muzzleflash and sparks on the new shotgun, it'd be awesome if those same effects were on the classic shotgun. Maybe have weapon skins for applicable weapons? I like reloading and all that but I would like that using the old guns. Just an idea.

My favorite part of the mod is the level enhancement system. Your level effects have always been my favorite. I am not a fan of the music changes being included in the mod. I also feel the high-res fonts are great but eventually clash with the overall look of the game. Regarding the marine buddies, you can revive them by pressing the use button once they die.

I hope to see parts of the mod split up honestly. I love the visual effects the most of this mod, but prefer to use my own sound effect mods and the Sound Canvas VA for the SC-55 playback. Weapons are nice as always and well balanced in my opinion. You should check out Doom Retro's way of handling liquids. I don't know how but the creator managed to make the liquids move really nicely and makes bodies/items float and gave the liquids depth, much like the "Deep Water" mod found on this website. I feel that would make an awesome addition to your level enhancement system. Thanks for releasing this beta, it really is an improvement every time you release a new version.

No I wasn't referring to the PSX music, I was just talking about replacing the music in the PSX TC .wad with the PC Doom muisc which is what I managed to do. It was just a matter of renaming files and copy pasting. It was a headache considering Slade likes crashing.

Ignore this, I just made my own music .wad.

You're good, I do have a question though. Is it possible for you to make the hud as an ACS? Because I like it a ton but a lot of the custom .wads I play have their own status bar that overwrites yours and frankly I hate them. Thanks!

I love this but is there a way to just use the MIDI music? The ambient music only does it for me for a little while.

Just realized the Enhanced version has different sounds, but I actually prefer it that way. PSX Doors and stuff with great sounding guns.

This has the best quality sound effects. I can say without a doubt that your SFX are the clearest sounding of all! So much that the shotgun sounds completely different! This is really awesome, if you can make a music mod with the same quality I would love it! PSX sounds are awesome but the only reason I hadn't been using them is because the mods usually sound exactly as if I was playing the PSX, and some people do like that, but I prefer clear SFX.

Nice work, I love this.

PS: This works perfectly with Smooth Doom! I love this mod sooo much!

Nevermind, I successfully got the mutators to work via the .ini in Zandronum. I do kinda wish there was a Vanilla gun soundpack though, just the ones that would make sense of course. Anyway, I actually really like this stuff, very well done! Keep it up!

I can't get the mutators to work. I'm using Zandronum, the LITE file works on its own but any mutator I put in the 'skins" folder is rejected and I can't play the game, any advice?
