I can even start the match, maybe because it's thr WON version? It may be something related to the settings files, but I couldn't find it

I have a real big problem: When I try to start a LAN match (I play on WON) it doesn't allow me to create it. The message I receive in the console is "LAN matches are restricted to class C clients"
Apart from buying the STEAM version of halflife, what can I do??
