The game wasn't too pleased with that hotfix, started crashed in loading screen just after I changed the game to 1.0.2
Says it cannot load the "ROT.dll" inside of Win64_Shipping_Client.
Am I the only one who have problems with recruiting in this mod? When I launch and after the Kings Landing epsiode I am able to recruit from villages, but 2-3 in game days later all villages except the ones I have recruited from already become unavailable for recruiting.
All I can do is "Force recruiting" which never works.
Sorry mate, was late when I wrote it so I didn't check anything I just thought why not just let them know. xD
I don't know if this usefull or just me blabbering the obvious, but to me it seems like the Uruks are being forced to "auto resolve"
I'm having a quite annoying bug. Everytime I enter a battle with uruks they die/ dissapear before the battle starts. I doesn't matter wether it's a regular battle, raiding village or siege my uruks just dissapears and enters the wounded or dead section.
With the mod... Not so well, life and exams amazing.
It's going to take time because of my final exams I have during this month and the next. So I'm not going to work on the mod until exams are over.
Also there are no money in modding, so even if I really wanted to dedicate my time to this mod I can't. But at some point its going to be finished.
Still need to make the armor for the shoulders, but here is the how the commander elven armor is going to look like. (Imagine some kind of cape from Attila)
Thank you! ;)
No not yet. After my models are done. I will look into the factions again. But first after all models are done and ready for texturing. :D
Hey mate!
Right now I'm working on different armour looks. To see which fits, which I like and which I hope you guys would like.
Thranduil'ish... I'm not making human textures/ skin textures. That is way more work than I want to do. I want to see if I can make a character similar to Thranduil as leader/ king. Then some custom generals to lead the armies. Then custom elven soldiers. (Not making Legolas)
Something like that. Not generals from movies, but I might make a few custom generals.
This is a really early elven commander armor. (Thranduil armor) Need a lot of work I know, but it's just to let you, I am working on the armor.
Other than this I need to make the regular soldier elven armor. I should be faster with the regular ones, when this one is done.
I don't know how the cape system is going to work...
Making from scratch I guess.
Cool! That would be awesome.
Really? When I have imported it into the game I can start twitching around and see if they fit. ;)
It takes a lot more time than I hoped because of real life stuff. Exams are coming up. And I have had A LOT of problems with 3ds max ! BUT (Freaking happy to say this!) I have finally made progress with it so now I can actually start modeling the armour.
So far I have been thinking of 6 - 7 units. Not to sure about the names yet.
Probably... Maybe... I'm not in contact with Rise of Mordor developers, so no idea. xD
Thanks a lot mate. Really means a lot!
Not that good... I have had some problems with 3ds Max (Which is the program I have to use to make the armor and import all the other models into)
Also I have to learn how to use that program again. Haven't used it since the dwarven mod.(Won't take long though)
So all in all... The armor is going to take time. A lot of time, but as soon as I have just a bit of a model that looks like an armor I'll post it! :D
The shield, armor and helmet will all get textured later on. That's why the shield and helmet right now are missing colours. I need to make a texture that fit the armor and the weapons... (So much texture work)
The helmet needs some texturing which I think I will do after the armor is done because I need to find/ make a texture that fit both armor and helmet.
I have gone back on the shield modeling because I was not satisfied with the result.
Just started on the armor modeling... Pain in me arse! Nothing have really changed other than that. I'll upload a picture of the armor as soon as I believe it's good enough to show. xD
Hmm... The Alans are not a bad idea actually!
Then I hope I'm able to to make these just as good. ;)
So the helmet is done just without the texture. Now the most important thing first! A guy named Cael3727 were so nice to borrow me a model he made (AMAZING WORK) so I could get an idea of making this bloody helmet! xD
I have now made almost a copy of his helmet with a few adjustments including having a low polygon amount. So if you want to praise someone please don't give me any credits. Give them all to Cael3727 without him this helmet would not have looked that great!
Secondly the shield will come up shortly then I will do the armor. Then I will have to figure out how to transfer the models to another program and a lot of other things, buuuuut the short animation film is done. So I can now work on this again.
The Avars?? xD
*Just checked*
Their location to the forests is really good, but the problem is it's a DLC faction. You have to own Age of Charlamage*** And I really don't like they idea of me "forcing" people to pay money to be able to use this mod. :I
Thanks I don't really know. I kinda slowed down a bit because I started AGAIN on too many projects.
So I kinda slowed down on this one (NOT STOPPED) I want to finish my 3D animation short film as I actually intended to do before I started on the elves. And after that I'll start working with the helmet and armor. The shield is more or less done just need the right texture.
