Thank you for the fix. Just got around to installing 8.0, works great. :)
I got distracted with Diablo IV.

1st, your 2.5 compatible mods are only mods I have ever installed.
2nd, I removed all the mods I had installed one by one to narrow the issue down to the mercenaries 7.0 mod

The issue:
mercenaries 7.0 makes it so only the 1st monster mob encounter after starting the game drops loot
Monster stop dropping loot after that

Other loot sources like treasure chests seem unaffected.
