i need to remove the last version?

~Hey when i open the game on coh non steam with europe at war mod installed it crashes, why?=

Hey I have 2.7 version company of heroes 2013, but non steam and i tryed to install , it installed and i followed this instructions:
-Remove any old version.
-Extract all in you CoH directory, make a shortcut of your relicCoH.exe,
right click on the copy and click "Properties", add at the end of the destination path: -mod europe_at_war
Click on Apply and OK.

I made a shortcut but when i put -mod europe_at_war at the end of the destination path it says that it is invalid name.
