Alive and Dancing. I don't take friend requests. My friends know that they are my friends.
haha true true
"There is certainly a conversation to be had here, but based on 7 News’ coverage, it’s not one they’re particularly interested in having."
Yeah guess why by tomorrow it will be long forgotten in the void of infotainment.
I had the same problem, most of the new stuff doesn't work and isn't animated.
I'll gladly change my review if it happens to be that the mod was installed in a wrong way or there being issues with windows 10 or something. But if this mod really is in such a poor state then the review will stay.
thx for the info, keep it up
Mate, at least I was honest.
I tried your mod out and what I said in my review is true. You're a slacker and since you probably didn't even bother to try my mod out a liar as well.
oh I see in the video that it already has iron sights! Very nice!
any chance for implementing iron sights mechanic?
neat will check it out.
An option to center the weapon like in DOOM or Quake would be neat too.
The whole Greenlight decision was already shite. Isn't Source 2 supposed to come soon? Will probably have an asset marketplace like Unreal Engine does maybe they want to sell mods there for their moddable game... Half Life 3? Makes sense to wait for the new engine or can you imagine HL3 in Unreal or Source 1? I sure can't. Half Life 3 with paid modding meanwhile CoD Black Ops 3 with free modding hahaha that would be so bizarre.
This is stupid. Modding is a hobby, commercialising it will only harm both the gaming industry and the modders.
Want to pay a modder? Download his mod, rate it, upload a screenshot or video of it. Give some feedback.
People are all stupid modding is essentially "stealing" the moment you sell mods they can all come and shut you down. And they will because commercialised mods give them a good reason to. I've always found it pathetic how modders are condemned for "stealing" from other modders but oh hey lets rip from the game and other games and take from youtube and picture galleries and whatnot. But it was all nice and dandy and accepted because no "financial harm" was done.
You can also bet that the ones that make paid mods will have a big interest in shutting people down that make non paid mods.
In the end mods will end up on pirate bay or depositfiles with a link on some obscure blog to escape from all these new enemies/competitors.
His entire reasoning is a big fat lie anyways. As if modders would need Valve to ask for money. They just want their cut of a new way of income. And for what games anyway??? So Skyrim was the wrong decision and old *** games are not profitable for this since nobody plays them anymore... what game is there? CS GO? Dota 2? "Modders" doing gun and mount skins???? 18 year old camwhores know how to commercialise their tits on the internet, why would a modder need valve to do the same with his mod? Open up a Patreon or something. Go ask for tipps.
Or just be content that people enjoy your work that is totally based on other people's work.
well someone has to go through the effort of doing it but yeah could be done.
hm yeah the idea is cool but looks kind of bad in a way. A resize of all the Doom monsters to 50% of what they're now could help maybe. Them not being isometric is another problem then again Starcraft has a weird perspective anyway.
The Doom content might look good at 10% of their size in C&C Tiberian Dawn or Red Alert.
Still cool that you took the effort of making it.
Can't tell you enough how much I love that they look so very identical to the original.
A Police Shooter for the PS2. A really cool and fun game thou not as complex as the SWAT games for PC.
Back in the day it was really cool that you didn't have to just kill everyone like in usual shooters but do Police like combat where you rather neutralize hostiles.
Gameplay holds up very well to this day.
not that I'd know much last time I payed is very long ago but it seems to me like what they call laser spam comes from ships having way more hardpoints.
I believe for this mod to strike with the right impact and to show why its worth the time and how good it is, there has to be gameplay shown of it.
That is why I decided to show no more of the mod until it is finished and I have gameplay footage available.
This is not an ordinary RA2 mod and neither is it an ordinary C&C anymore.
......i don't know how to read this comment.
thats not helping at all sadly.
I might not have been clear enough. The units (its just voxel units like tanks) are listed in the list of FA and I can place them and they work fine. But they don't show when I place them.
I'm placing invisible vehicles. But some new and all the old ones work perfectly fine.
How do I import them? All I see is the setting for the game directory and the checkbox for loading mods content.
Could the unit list in rules.ini cause this somehow maybe?
Yeah all it does is recommend the vast plethora of trash mods or dead mods.
Either improve this feature or remove it really. This just harms the place and the mods.
People know how to look for more mods of a certain game. They have no need for this really. It just distracts from the mod content too.
The cool new banner is from Armcoon
what on earth makes you think it isn't in english???
To get the ModDB update system to show a notification I will add this picture whenever a new video from a youtuber is added to the youtube article.
For other youtubers ofc it will be a picture and link to their channel.
Video 04 added
Just release a beta already. Its been what 7 years?
no worries, trump will set things straight again.
heh inglorious gems all around the place xD
Some games are just really good but they need a little touch up to get them quite up there.
Has a similar goal like mine. It changes enough to make the game better but not enough to become way different. Maybe its just me but I can appreciate small mods just as much as total conversions. The kind of mods which once you played with them you don't want to play without them ever again.
Maybe someday I'll get to do one for Rome II. I kind of made my own Rome II mod by merging a dozen tiny ones together and tweaking them a bit.
Don't like this at all tbh. Don't see the use in it either other than to mention other mods on a mod page.
ok sure take your time
damn this has mod of the year potential. Polish it up for next year and good luck :D
Gonna give it a try these days.
