i was trying to add sockets to shields and i cant add 4 sockets on a nonmagical shield. i tried: ward, aegis, monarch shields + normal gem + rune. it should be possible according to:
http :// classic.battle.net /diablo2exp /items /elite /shields.shtml w/o the spaces
but it always ends up giving me 3 sockets, only time i succeeded to get 4 was on a unique scutum with 3 normal gems and a rune, but i cant make a rune word on that 1. please help
