I was born in 1996 but I like playing retro games from before I was born, I have massive respect for the time and effort that the developers put into them. First FPS I played was Halo: Combat Evolved and been a Hardcore Halo Junkie ever since. But don't consider me an xbox fanboy in anyway, because whenever I wasn't playing Halo on my big brother's xbox I was playing Jak & Daxter on my PS2. I got into PC games around the age of 8, playing the first Starcraft which introduced me to RTS, and Counter Strike which introduced me to Steam and MMOs. The retro style indie games really seem to tickle my fancy right now, I only hope that doesn't make me come off as some pretentious hipster. I definitely wouldn't consider myself just a "casual" gamer, although I'm not exactly "hardcore" either.
