wanted to tell you that we have discovered the source of the lag when yu zoom in.
the problem is being addressed now and will be remedied in our next release
apparently it was the texture and LOD on some custom turrets and gun barrels a former team member did for us. i have personally played a internal private release we did to test out the problem and can tell you that framerate was around 30 fps after we removed them and zoomed in as close as possible on the vaygr based shipyard
